A visit to Coepang Timor

5th June 1818

On this day, 5th June 1818, Allan Cunningham visits Timor, Coepang, Port Jackson. while accompanying Phillip Parker King on his first Survey of coastal Australia.

Robert Heward wrote:

On the 5th of June, they anchored off the Dutch settlement of Coepang [Kupang Timor], 1 where they received every attention from the resident, Mr Hazaart [Jacobus Arnoldus Hazaart], and by the 13th having completed such supplies as were necessary, the following day they sailed for Port Jackson 2
