Mr Cunningham visits Bat Island and Brunswick Bay

1st September 1820

Around this day, 1st September 1820, Allan Cunningham explored Bat island and Brunswick Bay

Bat Island, at the entrance of Port Nelson, afforded our botanist another rich harvest, as also did the shore of Brunswick Bay, the general character of its vegetation resembling greatly that of Careening Bay. 1
